Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with BreastfeedLA, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for breastfeeding families in Los Angeles. While I am not a mother and have never breastfed, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of breastfeeding, as well as the challenges that can come with it, through my nieces and nephews.
You don’t need to have breastfed to understand the importance of this cause. Every one of us knows someone—a friend, family member, or even your own mother—who has gone through the breastfeeding journey. BreastfeedLA works to ensure that every parent knows their rights and has access to the knowledge and support they need, whether they’re just starting out or facing challenges.
Your donation will help work to improve the health and well-being of infants and families through education, outreach, and advocacy to promote and support breastfeeding.
